The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro), together with a large delegation he is leading, today paid an official working visit to the city of Berbera.

Along the main road between Hargeisa and Berbera, the President and his delegation were warmly and joyfully welcomed by a large crowd of citizens, which reflects the strong support and confidence the people have in the Unity and Development Government led by President Abdirahman Cirro.

The purpose of the President’s trip is to inspect and assess the progress of national activities and development projects currently underway in Berbera. The President will also hold working meetings with the Regional and District Administrations, discussing strategic issues concerning the development of the Port of Berbera, security, and the improvement of essential public services in the city, such as electricity, water, healthcare, and education.
